MCSO – Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office Headquarters
Waibel & Associates Landscape Architecture provided landscape architectural design for this notable architectural statement in downtown Phoenix. The structure for the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Department/911 Call Center is surrounded by plazas over structure. The raised planters contain a lightweight soil mix, low water use plants, natural stone accents, and an irrigation system to water the expansive-but-shallow soil profile effectively, with the ability to be modified and monitored by the maintenance company.
